I stumbled upon the Google answers thread on the Monseuil owl from the
movie Lost in Translation... and it appears that the thread died out.
I saw that you (justaskscott-ga) were involved in acquiring answers
for people who were also looking for the owl (last comment was posted
June 2004). I
noticed somebody mentioned Black Ink at 101 Charles Street, which is
funny because I used to live at 100 Charles Street in Boston. I know
for a fact that they don't actually have the owl. Only MonSeuil
appears to sell the owl used in the movie.

So I have been looking for this owl now for some time, and tried
calling MonSeuil myself recently (even though I don't speak a word of
Japanese), but nobody picked up. Any idea how we might track this owl
down and find out if it is still for sale? I'd be looking to buy a
couple of them and ship them to the USA. Can you help me find a place
where I can purchase this owl either online or by phone? I'm hoping to
surprise a girl I know with it. She would be so thrilled...
