Superstar (Joe Gandelman)?.
The article starts with this phrase:
?A small cadre of protesters caught the attention of Vice President
Dick Cheney on Thursday outside a GOP fund-raiser at Tucker Ranch.?

Since the Jackson Hole Daily Newspaper provides contact information
for their staff at ( http://www.jacksonholenews.com/Contacts.html ) ,
I sent off an email to one of the County/State Reporters. Within a
half an hour I received a copy of the article "Protest dogs VP" by
Jim Stanford.
I compared the article with the cached copy and I noticed that there
were a few paragraphs missing.
Unfortunately I can?t post the full text of this article at Google
Answers due to copyright restrictions; however I suggest that you
write to: county@jhnewsandguide.com and request a copy of the
article.
-------------------------------------------
In any case here are the two paragraphs that are missing from the
cached copy of the article so that you will be able to read the
complete article.
After the sentence "It was a perfect night, and everyone had a good
time," Larimer said,? read the following paragraph:
?Nobody seemed to take offense at Santorum's controversial stance on
gay rights, she said. The senator gave some brief remarks about the
need for lower taxes and less government. "His message went over
extremely well, and people were very pleased," she said. Among those
in attendance were U.S. Sen. Craig Thomas, former Sen. Al Simpson,
U.S. Rep. Barbara Cubin, state Sen. Grant Larson, state Rep. Clarene
Law and Mayor Mark Barron. Barron, who came as an invited guest, said
the attendance was "maybe 100." He spoke briefly to Santorum, who he
said was "struck by the
splendor that surrounds us."
After the sentence: "Several of them!" the protesters yelled back,?
read this paragraph.
Suzy Kneeland, 39, carried a sign that read, "Dick, You Lied to USA
about WMD." Disgusted by the war in Iraq, Kneeland is supporting Sen.
John Kerry for president. "I've had enough of this nonsense," she
said. "I think it's patriotic to work for peace." Molly Armour, 23,
carried a sign with a photo of Cheney snarling and the inscription,
"Small minds, lost souls and cold hearts are the
most dangerous weapons of mass destruction." Watching party guests
coming and going, Armour said she just wanted to talk with them. The
protest was a helpful "annoyance," she said. "We've got to remind them
that this valley isn't a bunch of
pushovers," she said. "There's a lot of people thinking, and a lot of
people who want positive change. I'm sick of Cheney's bulls**t and
all of the Republicans' lack of dialogue."
Here is the last line of the article:
?Karilyn Brodell, 54, carried a sign that read, "America can do
better. Reject the politics of secrecy and hate." As a Suburban drove
past towing a fishing boat, a man yelled, "Go home! Get a life!"
Brodell shook her head. "So nasty," she said. "To me the beauty of
America is the right to dissent."
