Need more information:
Has it run smoothly before? Or has it never worked.
What Operating System?
Have you installed something recently and it stopped working?
Have you tried re-installing the software?

Also check:
Are you runnning out of space on your harddrives.
Do you have enough RAM.

The photoshop has always ran perfectly..never a problem..I am using it
on my computer with Millenium..(yea, yea, I know , but I am prolly the
only person on earth that likes this system)..regardless..I have never
had any problems with it..I tried the uninstall/reinstall
thing..nothing..its driving me crazy..I have read everything I can
find on the net and nothing seems to apply. Have not installed
anything new....something happened about two weeks ago and the color
bit thing on my computer was screwed up..had only 16 bit color or
something and (I thought that did the thing to photoshop) and I
usually would have been able to fix it but this time no..so I sent it
out and he fixed that but my photoshop was still bad...
