What kind of process is this: rwipqs.exe ?  I'm seeing it in the task
manager of windows 2000 server.  What does the process do? How is it
started? Can I just stop it?

It may be the Readware Information Processor Queue Server (rwipqs).
You should also see a rwipas (analyst server) running.
If you kill these processes, the Readware software may not function
correctly. If you plan to use Readware software, I think you'd better
keep it running.

Run into anymore mysterious things suck as that goto www.sysinfo.org
there is registry key list and exe file listing. avaiable publicly.
