I'd like to find a comparison of death rates worldwide broken up by country and by death mechanism. By death mechanism I mean homicide, disease, suicide, etc. The important part is that the information should be recent and complete (not just first world countries). Looking around I have found that there is lots of information regarding homicide rates and gun control. This is not what I am interested in. I have also found that the information varies from site to site, so I am not looking for the first answer that comes out of a search engine, but something that has been cross-checked for consistency. A comparison over time would also be interesting, but only if it is a long term one. For example a comparison between death rates in native American populations compared to death rates in America today. | |
