Hi! Any tips on a reliable agent who can help with transfer by car
from Bangkok Airport to Koh Samed? Or is it, perhaps preferably,
possible to pre-order a taxi?
(Suggestion: look for travellers comments on blogs etc.)

I have not specifically been to Koh Samet, but I have been to other
areas of Thailand. Why not just negotiate with a taxi driver? Or,
would you accept information about bus transfer?

BTW -- be warned about numerous travel scams in Thailand. If you have
never been there before, expect sleazy operators to try and convince
you that bus service has been cancelled, that taxi trips to Bangkok
from the airport cost 1000 Baht (should be closer to 200-300), etc.

I do have been to Thailand several times, but will have shorter with
time during this drip. This is why I would prefer not to risk being
forced to take a transport to Bangkok before heading to Koh Samet.

So I still need answer on my initial question. (1) Is it possible to
pre-order a taxi? (2) Any agent who can help with transfer by car from
Bangkok Airport to Koh Samet? (3) Otherwise, bus transfer might do if
there is a convenient choice.

The taxi fare would take about 12 hours + ferry. The price would be
higher than taking a flight directly to Koh Samui.

If you want to avoid flights, take a bus to Surat Thani/Koh Samui
instead. Another option may be to rent a car from Budget, I think you
can pickup the car in Bangkok and leave it at Koh Samui. Budget have
agents in both Surat Thani and Samui.

Sorry, I read wrong. I were thinking of Koh Samui and not Koh Samet.
