Hello senator2b-ga,
Chem Dry has franchise operations troughout the US, as well as in
quite a number of other countries around the world.
Are you looking only for US information, or for contact information in
all countries where Chem-Dry operates?
Also, it may be possible to compile US mailing addresses for Chem-Dry
operations, but these wouldn't include the principle name...only the
the company name and address. For example:
Absolute Chem-Dry of Florida
1510 Capital Circle Southeast
Tallahassee, FL 32301
Would this meet your needs? Let me know.

Sorry...I just noticed that your question specifically asks about the
US franchises only.
However, the remainder of my question to you still stands...would the
franchise name and address be sufficient for your needs?

senator2b-ga,
Thanks for your note (and hope you're recovering from the huricane!).
The status of my research is:
--Both the Chem Dry website and various Yellow Pages directories
provide listings for ChemDry's around the US. However, the company
site only shows these one or two at a time, and the Yellow Pages only
provide 15 at a time.
--I cannot cut and paste the names the names into one big database for
you due to copyright restrictions (but I can certainly point you to
the listings yourself, if they are of interest)
--What's more, different Yellow Pages give very different total
numbers for the number of ChemDry facilities in the US, and I haven't
reconciled these differences yet,
--I've ordered some software which *might* help me generate a useable
list, but I don't know when I'll receive it, or even how well it will
work once it arrives.
--I'm still thinking about oher approaches that might help.
Wish I could tell you I was one the way to completing this soon, but
I'm just not sure how things will turn out at this point.
If there is another researcher with any ideas, they should feel to
jump in and take a shot at this challenging question.

Hello, again
additional ideas about the chem dry list.
i think ....that to be a Chem Dry company you have to use chem dry in
your name, ex: chem dry by miller, or usa chem dry, etc.
best regards

Hi again.
I like the idea of using city/county licenses as a source of
information, and this would work fine -- I think - for building a
smallish list in a particular city or county. But I would have to
access thousands of such localities in order to build a full national
database!
An alternative is nationwide Yellow Pages services. Have a look at
the lists that begin here:
http://snipurl.com/8ptr
There are 15 ChemDry's listed here, and another 650+ if you click
through to all the "Next Page's".
Is this useful to you at all?
