How comes most celebrities have good skin, I prosume that it boils
down to money?? I think that they must see a beauty speacialist?

I'm looking for places in the London area that could help me not have
spots etc. I would like places that deal with high profile people like
celbrities.

I've never met her but ...

I understand that Cameron Diaz is not so blessed.

If so, then it's obviously nothing to do with money.

Now, I do have good skin and I can assure you that, in my case, it's
definitely nothing to do with money.

Just a healthy life style.

If you've ever seen pics of celebs without their makeup, it becomes
very clear that they all don't have good skin. Makeup and airbrushing
are their life savers :)

Good point, Kriswrite

The celebs that I've met look just like ordinary folk when they take
their make up off.

I used to belong to a theatre group that had the privilege of meeting
the cast after the show and I was continually amazed by how many
gorgeous looking young women on-stage transformed themselves into
people who you would pass in the street without noticing.

The other thing, I've noticed is how TINY many of them are.

Not just make up. Most of the prettiest celebs in person are sure to
have undergone some dermatological or medical, even surgical treatment
to keep their youthful appearance. With their huge paychecks, I guess
it's almost a guaranteed habit for any celeb.

The illusion that celebrities have beautiful skin is being torpedoed
by high-definition television. In close-up shots, HDTV can reveal the
truth: some of these folks have a complexion that resembles the
surface of the moon.

Here's an interesting list of stars who look better or worse in high-def:

Most celebrities were probably good-looking (or photo/telegenic, not
the same thing) before they became celebrities. Ugly people tend to
get turned down at auditions. And none of them would probably admit to
needing treatment.

If you have a skin problem, discuss it with your doctor, who can
prescribe effective medication rather than cosmetic hocus-pocus, or
who may refer you to a dermatologist.

Here's something from Milla Jovovich about skin care:

"Hey, I?m back. So, I?m taking about 2 handfuls of vitamins a few
times a day just to cope with whatever my body is going through. Like
6 Omega-3?s a day and Vitamin C is my candy, Glucosamine, for my poor
joints. Collagen pills to help keep the skin moist from the inside
out. I?ve started with the Echinacea again, cause ANOTHER cold is
going around the set and it?s been raining here since we arrived. This
seems to be a veritable breeding ground for bacteria, every woman on
set looks like they have pepperoni pizza for skin (I was there too
until I started all my vitamins!), so now I?m also eating a bunch of
acidophilus to make sure my stomach is getting some help dealing with
this whole experience. Oh, let?s not forget 3 different types of
calcium, one with magnesium, one with potassium and one normal a day.
(For all the ladies reading this, if you have breakouts on your chin,
that is for sure to do with the digestive tract and the fact that
you?re not getting enough calcium and Omega 3. If your tongue spasms
when you stick it out, that means you?re low on magnesium which leads
to higher stress and bad mood swings as well as facial ticks! Good to
know.) Also, Olive Oil extract is a natural anti-bacterial, so
drinking two teaspoons a few times a day will help everything heal.
I?ve never known so much about diet and supplements as I do now, but
because I have to be in front of the camera, I have to do everything I
can to keep my skin looking great, not to mention keeping my stamina
and morale up. Let me tell you, after I started my new vitamin regime
(along with cutting down on wheat and refined sugars) my skin has
completely turned around. (Boys, sorry for all this skin talk!)

I tend to agree with Kriswrite here - most of them look horrible
without make-up, like any other human being.

Well, one of my favourite actors is Tommy Lee Jones. Good facial skin
is not something he's famous for.

I can't remember their names though.
