Hi, we have been living in a 2 bedroom condo for about 7 years and our central air conditioning system has been running fine up until now. Over the years, we have maintained the system well..with annual checkups and freon inputs from time2time. Theres seems to be the sound of running water coming from behind the cooling coil or somwhere underneath it (I'm not sure exactly where, but its very loud). When we remove the outside cover/grill (the white colored one that attaches to the wall so the coil and a/c is not really visible) the sound of the water stops. We put in new air-filters every month before they get dirty. And even if we set the thermostat to 80-85 degrees fahrenheit, it still cools as if it was 70-75 degrees fahrenheit. The main problem I have however, is the sound of running water. Could you explain to me why we have it and is there a way to get rid of it and how? Thnx. |
