what is lo- craftian or lowe craftian the director Guillermo Del Toro
mentions in the Hell Boy DVD comentaries about the cosmology of his
story is more lo craftean or low kraftean or something like that which
is beyond just Christian or other theology.

question. I think you will be surprised by the answer because it is
neither related to cosmology nor theology:

What Guillermo Del Toro is referring to when he uses the term
?Lovecraftian? is the style of one of America's masters of
supernatural fiction and fantasy, H. P. Lovecraft ( 1890-1937), often
hailed as the 20th century Edgar Allen Poe. Lovecraft penned a number
of works that, in many people?s eyes, set the precedent by which all
later macabre horror tales would be judged.

Del Toro isn?t the only one who uses the term ?Lovecraftian?. The
phrase has become synonymous with world-class horror and is used
frequently by those who understand the significance of the comparison.
