I saw a segment on TV Food Network that featured a sweet bread made in a family bakery that I thought was spelled "povetitsa" or something like that. I can't seem to find the recipe or the source. Can you find it for me? |

The recipe for this Croatian bread treat Povitica or Potica is available from several web sources. The best one I found on the web has been illustrated with photos of the walnut-filled bread being made. The recipe was taken from "Treasured Slovenian and International Recipes," and can be seen at this website of slovenian culture at http://www.snpj.com/potica.htm with links to other pages. |
