I have a dell latitude d600 running dvdxcopy platium v4.0.3.8 not copy
protected. The dvd burner i am using is a 7W036-A01. When i burn dvd+r
it says process completed sucsessfully but when i put the dvd into a
computer or dvd player it will not work. I have this same programe on
a different computer and it works great. Is there a firmware upgrade
or something i can do to fix this.

Try using your laptop burner with different media(Blanks). This is
most likely your issue.
