I am interested in knowing how the size of company databases (one
representative company would do - more data even better) has evolved
over time. Any data that would get me close to getting a feel for that
would be great (for example, showing the growth in Oracle databases
would be very helpful).

Do you need a simple company database stats?  I mean a typical company
may have its database grow for a variety of reasons like
computerization, expansion, or even diversification.  How will pure
stats be helpful to you?
