Anti-spam software isn't perfect, and usually benefits from some level
of "training." If you go to your Spam folder on AOL, you can highlight
a desired message and click the "This is not spam" button to inform
AOL that the message isn't one that should be considered spam. It's
meant to be "adaptive," so it should not filter (hopefully after you
indicate one message as not spam) your desired messages into the Spam
folder.

There's also some information and other internal tools at keywords
"Spam Controls" and "Junk Mail." (To access them, you can either type
the phrase into the entry field at the top of the AOL application or
on a PC hit CTRL-K and enter the phrase in that box.)

Good luck...

'adaptability' feature.

hi,

SIMPLE !!!

Add the email you expect into your address book. By this SPAM filter
will not block or moved it to "junk folder".

AOL has a history of making wrong choices... You might be aware that
some viruses and spam senders are spoofing the From: of some emails in
some attempts of being untracable. AOL has identified a few time my
email service provider as sending spam or viruses although it wasn't
coming from them ( since they filter spam and viruses very efficently
ni both directions ), and therefore it has been erroneously
black-listed a few times, until someone complains to them...
Ironically AOL is letting more viruses and spam go through than the
average email service provider...
I always suggest to my friend to not use AOL, Hotmail, NetZero,
Juno... they tend to create more problems than they solve.
