In laymens terms, how would you interpret the following:
"westerly 12 meters in perpendicular width throughout the northerly 62
meters of lot 4".

My interpretation based upon experience would be that you draw a line
perpindicular from the lot line 12 meters from the east lot line. The
line should be 62 meters long. It is a confusing description but I
think this is correct.
