Question ID: 387289
I have a sharp electronic organiser, purchased in the early 1990's (??)
Model number is ZQ 4400 and it uses an OL390 Link to communicate with
my laptop computer. I ran the program in DOS mode with Windows 98.
Information fields are in WZW file type.
I now have a new computer running Windows XP, which no longer has DOS mode.
I have purchased a new PDA and have it ready to communicate with the
MS Outlook program of Windows XP.
QUESTION: How do I retrieve the data from the information fields of my
organiser, in such a manner so as to copy all of my data to the MS
Outlook program and the new PDA?

I'm presuming you already have the data downloaded from your organizer
as .wzw files.

o Load OL390 in a DOS or Command Prompt window.
o Use F2=Application to choose the phone book you want to import.
o Use the "Export to SDF database format" function under the
F6=Advanced, "Export/Import" menu option
o Call the file "somethin.csv" (for example)
 o Load Microsoft Outlook
o Choose "Import/Export" on the "File" menu.
o "Import from another program or file"
 o "Comma Separated Values (DOS)"
 o c:\ol390\somethin.csv (for example)
o Select "Contacts" as the destination folder
o Check the box beside "Import "SOMETHIN.CSV" into folder: Contacts"
o Press the "Map Custom Fields" button.
o Drag the sample values on the left into the fields where you want
them to appear on the right. Click "OK".
 o Click "Finish".

This was tested with Microsoft Outlook 2002, if you have a different
version the method may vary slightly. Good luck!
