I would like to know who the top 10 oil or acrylic paint artists are,
and how much money they earn from their Art carreer.  If it exists, I
would accept their annual art market value instead of an income
figure.

I believe there was an article in ART IN AMERICA a few months back,
that may answer this, but I don't know how to find it, not sure if it
answers my question.

Hi,

I think I've located the article that you remember.  It was a list of
the Top 10 "money" artists. The article appeared a few months ago in a
major art publication (not Art in America, but similar).
Unfortunately, the available online version of the article doesn't
provide precise annual income or auction figures.  Also, the list
concerns artists in general, not just painters.

Would you still be interested in that article?

It's not just about the article, more importantly the facts and
figures concerning Oil Painting Artists.  Perhaps I'm being too picky.
 Anyone out there work for the IRS. :)  This information is publized
about actors, talk show hosts often.  I'm planning my next carreer as
an oil painter.  Thank you for working on this.
