Looking for the title and performer of a song sung to me by an elder relative.
The lyrics went:
"MY ROOTI-TOO IS A COMING THROUGH ON THE BIG CHOO CHOO TODAY. DON'T
TELL ME THERE'S NO SANTA CLAUS, CAUSE I KNOW DARN WELL THERE IS."
I'm guessing it's a song from WWII.

The song you are looking for just has to be "My Cutie's Due At
Two-To-Two Today," by Leo Robin and Albert Von Tilzer. It was written
in 1926. Here are the lyrics:

"Hi there taxi do your stuff
You can't get there fast enough
My Cutie's due at two to two today

She is coming through on a big "Choo - Choo"
She's been away for months
And I ain't seen her once
Could not flirt because it hurt

I would not do my Cutie dirt
My days were blue my nights were black
But still I knew she would come back

And she loves me and I love her
And I say don't say there ain't no SANTA CLAUS
I know darn well there is because
My Cutie's due at two to two today."

You can get a copy on CD in various styles (and hear audio clips):

Search Strategy:

I tried various Google searches using various combinations of search
terms based on your recollected lyrics. This one paid off:

"comin' OR coming through" "santa OR santy claus"

I am confident that this is the information you are looking for. If
anything is unclear, please ask for clarification before rating the
answer.
