Q.
How well has David Bowie's new album Heathen sold, considering many
reviewers have proclaimed it as his best since Scary Monsters

A.
Hi Rob,

As it happens I was listening to the very same album when I saw your
question. It's a bit solemn but definitely a grower.

I went directly to Billboard.com and discovered that it peaked at
No.14, but after 4 weeks it is now at No.89. It has not gone gold.
Interestingly another English act, Oasis, have a new album in the
charts called Heathen Chemistry, and it is at No.23.

In England it has risen this week, from 27 to 19.

Here in Australia it entered the charts at No.9 and this week has
dropped to No. 16

Not bad for an album without a hit single!

Best wishes,

Hi Seedy,

It is raining and windy and icy cold in Melbourne...2 months down and 1 to go.

I sort of liked the idea of listing "step 1" hoping for a "step 2"
etc...Although the buttons are quite clear...using step numbers would
give it some rhythm....

I gave the question a value that is reasonable to me. It obviously
attracted a top researcher who provided a facinating answer...Thanks

The format appears to be the same as what it was before. I think just
the home page format has changed.
