Question ID: 387761
How do I stop Google errors from preventing me from using certain
websites? I have run McAfee (new and updated version) and spyware
software but I still have the problem. When I do a search on Google
or Yahoo, I get the error. When I log in to local newspaper, I get
the error.

Here is an example of an error I get:

Google
Error

Not Found
The requested URL /apps/pbcs.dll/section?Category=BUSINESS was not
found on this server.

It usually has the Google logo at the top where it says Google Error.
This error is in Internet Explorer.

I get this on www.telegram.com
Also will get this same error in a search in Google or Yahoo.
These are some examples of the websites where the problem takes place.

I hope it clarifies the problem.

Explain the error better. Is it redirecting to a different URL or is
are you getting an IE (or Mozilla, whatever) error. If the first, you
probably have spyware, if the second it's probably an error in the
program and you should ask the company's own tech support.

Do you get the same error in other browsers also or just in IE?
(Firefox or Mozilla can be downloaded from www.mozilla.org if you
don't have it installed).
