Actually, we can verify the death of Ms. Craft for you (she died in
2002).  There is some additional information available, including:

--middle initial

--date of death

--date of birth (and probable state of birth)

--zip code of her residence

and a bit more.

Hello again, Connie.

Death certificates are usually available from the state authorities in
which the death occurred.  Although some states make it possible to
request such information online, Wisconsin does not.  You will need to
contact their vital records office directly -- via phone or mail -- to
request a copy of the death certificate in question.  The procedure
for doing so is included here:

The certificate may or may not include information about the cause of
death,  and other information as well, such as the place and
circumstances of death.  The only way to know for sure is to request a
copy from the state.

I really appreciate the answer I received.  I was hoping for
verification with a death record but I will have to get that from
Wisconsin if that in fact is where she died at the time.  Thanks!

I failed to point out in my initial answer that the death -- as
reported to the US Social Security Administration -- is listed as
"verified".  That is:

"V)=(Verified) Report verified with a family member or someone acting
on behalf of a family member."
