Question ID: 388093

I am looking for the name of the song and the artist of a song that I
heard played on the radio. It is not a recent song....! I remember
hearing it in 1992/1993 but it may be slightly older than that.

It is a US love song / semi sexy, possibly R&B / Soul. It is slow
love song with fast moving background music. There is only a single
lead male voice in the vocals. Someone once told me that the song was
by Keith Sweat but I am not all convinced if this is true (May be /
may not be!) It is by someone of that kind of background.

Here are the lyrics of the song as best as I can rememember them.

Intro... "Summer Heat, Summer Rain"

Somewhere in the middle " The radio plays our favourite song,...
passion takes over..."
Somewhere in the middle " Dont hold back..give yourself to me"

Chorus "Its goin to be a long (LONG) hot summers night....we're making
love under the moonlight" REPEAT

Somewhere towards the end " Take it off baby,.... just you and me baby"

Finish with Chorus to fade!

Would like the name of the artist, song title, album and complete song lyrics.

I have tried looking at a couple of lyrics websites but as it is not a
recent song, have found it a bit difficult.

Hello superflyguy-ga,

I have found the song you are looking for. I can tell you the song
name, the artist and album.

I have not been able to find a listing of the lyrics. I have been
able to find an MP3 download of the song, and it definitely contains
the lyrics that you provided.

Would this be an acceptable answer to your question?
