I am presently employed as a Delivery Driver operating a Tractor Trailer at a Wholesale food distributor in Florida, and we have routes that cross State Lines, Apparently there is a stipulation that allows the company the option not to pay there drivers Time And a Half over 40 hours if they cross interstate lines. The company I work for has chosen not to pay there drivers time and a half over 40 hrs. Is this considered an exemption and a common practice for employers and do we have any recourse? Awaiting your reply, Thanks, JD | |
