I was not able to find any directory or licensing information
pertaining to this business, but an interesting discussion from the
past month on Paper Source Online at
http://www.papersourceonline.com/discus/messages/1649/15668.html?1093550165
may help.
The starting post by Jacob about the Chino Hills man named Eric Decker
excerpted his appeal:
"My name is Eric Decker, and I stood at the "pearly gates" waiting for
Jesus from nearly dying of a heart attack when I found out that EVERY
penny in my pocket WAS WORTH $10 CASH!"
"Gets your attention, doesn't it...?"
"Eric claims all pennies dated from 2002 (and below) are each worth $10."
"Eric further writes: "This has nothing to do with coin collecting,
buying, selling or trading coins, Indian head pennies, rare pennies,
flawed pennies, gambling, stock markets, penny stocks, investing,
pyramids, defacing pennies, or penny gumball machines..." Eric is
selling his "Cash for Pennies" program for "only" $39.97 plus $10
s/h."
