Let me give you some inside scoop: There is a relatively new type of
sexual predator known to law enforcement as a ?traveler?. This type of
pedophile doesn?t care where the child is ? he will ?come to you?. All
he needs is a bit of information (which kids typically give without
thinking too much about it) and to establish a certain level of trust,
enticement or interest with the child.

You wouldn?t let your child watch any channel he or she wants on
television (even pornographic ones), use the phone to call anyone he
or she wants at any hour of the night (even if they are adults) and
chat for hours, or let them write letters to anonymous men even if
they are in prison for rape, murder or molestation would you?

If you give this child unlimited access to the internet, I?d bet my
life?s earnings that he or she will be doing just that (perhaps
unknowingly) at some point in their internet experience, and it
wouldn?t surprise me in the least if it happened at least once on the
very first day.
