Question ID: 388284
I would like to know the title and composer of this song:

<a href="http://www.intradasound.com/soundclips/q10.mp3">mp3</a>

"Pretend", "Q10 Pretend" or "Intrada Sound" are not the correct answers.

Well, but it actually really is "Pretend" (though in an unusual violin
arrangement), written and composed by Lew Douglas, Cliff Parman and
Frank Lavere. What makes you think that it is not "Pretend"?

Sorry, I meant to say that "Pretend", on its own, was not an
acceptable answer. Go ahead and answer it with that information.

The song is "Pretend", words and Music by Lew Douglas, Cliff Parman
and Frank Lavere.

Search strategy:
I happen to own a CD with Carl Mann's 1959 version of that song, so I
only had to look in the booklet. In addition, I used Google with the
following search terms:
"frank lavere" pretend lew

Hope this answers your question!

It's a very nice arrangement of Pretend, which reminds me of Paul
McCartney's "classical" arrangement of "My Love".
Bonus points to scriptor for having the Carl Mann version. His
rock-a-billy arrangement of "Mona Lisa" is one of my all-time faves.
