I'm looking for information on the Spanish company Fortuna Estates, thier website is at www.fortunaest.com I am considering investing a large amount of money in one of thier projects and want to be sure who I am dealing with. I'm looking in particular for any negative publicity or stories from clients of this company who have had bad experiences and/or lost money. If there is any dirt I need to dig it up ! |

Please do not invest in this company until you have all of the necessary financials and done prudent background checks on officers and checks of court records and other business records in Spain. If I were you I would ask for a copy of the registration papers that verify they are registered in Spain and also the name of the bank that holds their account (so you can verify that they do actually have a bank account) and ask for financial statements for the past year, also check to see if they are registered in London, England (where they are sponsoring an upcoming exhibition for new investors, according to their website) and ask them to furnish the names and addresses of at least 4 investors who have benefited financially so you can contact them personally. A British message board called streetwise had posted a similar inquiry to yours (where someone was looking for information about Fortuna) and the responses were subsequently deleted by the message board administrator, which could be an indication that this company does not have a very good reputation. You could order a business background/credit report for $350 from Dun and Bradstreet (www.dnb.com)--from their Spanish office--but I did not even see Fortuna company's name come up on their database, which makes it vitally important that you get the exact name of their company before conducting a search. If I were you I would contact a private investigator in the same Spanish city as where this company is located to check with local business officials and court records to see what information can be gleaned. Hello bendurkin I am a spanish researcher (not google researcher) working for an advertising agency in the UK, normally every morning I use to have a look to google answers . I think this service is brilliant, eachtime I learn something new from the answers. I want to help you as far as using my language skill is concerned. I've just been working on it for a while but I did not found any info about this company in spanish, only ads from them. that's all. As 4keith correctly wrote "do not invest in this company until you have all of the necessary documents...". It can be really risky. If you need more help, just let me Know. Regards |
