i run a small business, basically computer has demographic infor on 3000 people. what is best way to simply back up my complete hard drive with something which easily plugs in and is self-explanatory, which a secretary can do. if there is a fire i want an offsite backup which can be "plugged in" and have me up and running immediately. i don't need up to the minute backups, just a once a month complete backup to include all the data and all the programs on the computer. thank you in advance |

Buy a second HD, backup once a month, and take the second HD home. |

Take a look at http://www.vipower.com/ You can buy a External Enclosure for your HD/CD/DVD-RW drives with USB interface, and you can carry your backup with you. |

2 things: Get a tape drive or get a external USB hard drive. I recommend going with the tape drive. |
