I need to ask tenants to leave a residential home in Arizona. They are on a month to month lease, and I want to give them 30 days notice. My first question is do I only have to give them 30 days notice? Secondly, I am asking them to leave on character issues. They have lied and manipulated me (twice) one time resulting in me losing $50. Can I explain this to them when asking them to leave? Or do I just have to keep my mouth shut and say we want to sell it? Summarized: What's the time that a landlord must give a tenant on a month-to-month lease in Arizona? On what grounds can I break a month-to-month lease, is 'lack of character' an acceptable one? **Please give links so I know the sources!!** |
