I live in Birmingham, Alabama, What landform will I live on?

Birmingham, AL, in Jefferson County is located between Red Mountain
and Sand Mountain -- both part of the Cumberland Plateau.  So, unless
you live on one of the lakes or rivers in the area you'll be living on
a "plateau".

Birmingham sits near the southwest corner of the plateau that's part
of the Appalachian Mountain structure:
