I am looking to purchase a 37" to 42" Plasma or LCD tv. Can someone please 

1) Suggest which is a better technology and why?
2) Find the best value for money deal in UK for each type. I have
already visited sites like pricerunner.co.uk please include some well
researched bargains in the response not just a list from pricerunner,
please.

Have a look at Richer Sounds ... They're all over the UK.

They claim to have the best prices.

They are certainly very good in my experience but I've never bought a
TV screen from them.

My husband has been in electronics, and he would never buy plasma
because, as he says, "the technology isn't fully trouble-shot yet." In
other words, it still has "issues."
