I need to find the best home phone package. Let's say I make 600 to
800 minutes worth of Long distance calls, about half in state and half
out of state, and I make frequent local calls. My Area Code and
prefix is 541-387 my Zip Code is 97031. What carrier and what
package(s) make the most sense ? I have heard that there are "One
rate all inclusive packages and I thought I had signed up for one, but
it appears that it only applies to out of state long distance.

I use Vonage, Its real cheep. It is a cable Internet Phone. They send
you the hardware and you have to hook it up to your homes telephone
system. I knew how to do it so it's ok but you will have to find
someone. Just look in the phone book..
You can probably get all the info you need from their web site.
"Vonage" do a google search

I would definitely suggest Vonage. Currently I use it but I would also
suggest you have a cell phone as back up cos the internet is the
backbone for vonage. No internet no vonage.

Go to this site, email me or call me and I will hook you up with FREE
long distance no matter how many minutes you talk. Our company offers
bundled plans or separate plans---all are most likely cheaper than you
are paying now. These plans include your instate/intralata calls!!
