I am putting up (what I hope will be) a popular message board for political
discussions. I will use targeted advertising appearing on each page to
help fund the site.

I have no idea how to estimate revenue per page of ads. I
have some idea about expenses, but I need info on what to expect from
revenue for banner-type ads and ads targeted to the interest of the
Board visitors.

Could you provide a typical range of what a board can generate in
revenue per day per page?

I forgot to add one more variable--traffic. So, restated, the question is

"Could you provide a typical range of what a board can generate in
revenue per day per page per [some measure of traffic]?"
