A web site allows you to put in a case number for a status.
I want the format of an address (file:open _____ in IE 6) which will
include a case number so it can take me directly to the status.
Here is the web address - https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp
You have to click on "online" and then enter your 13 character case number.
I want to be able to type something in a format like
"https://egov.immigration.gov/..... CASE NUMBER......" to take me
directly to the status of CASE NUMBER.
Thanks

Jay

For testing you can use EAC0416454095.

The "script" should be able to be typed in an address window and take
you directly to a page which says:

Case Status
Receipt Number: EAC0416454095

Application Type: I181, CREATION OF RECORD OF LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENCE

Current Status:

Your I181 CREATION OF RECORD OF LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENCE was
received on May 12, 2004. We mailed you a receipt with information
about processing. It is taking between 30 and 60 days for us to
process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as
processing is complete.

So, what I believe you want is a script. My friend smozgur asked me to
post this for you:

https://egov.immigration.gov//cris/caseStatusSearch.do?appReceiptNum=EAC0416454095

All you need to do is change the Receipt Number as needed.

I am not a Google researcher, so this is a freebie. :)

I said "script". I meant "hyperlink".

PERFECT
That would be a ***** answer.

I had a feeling it would be trivial - for someone who know what they were doing.
Thank you very much.
