I would like to see studies that try and illustrate a relationship
between taxes and economic growth. I would like to know how taxes
effect growth. Do they hinder growth? If so, at what level. Do they
promote growth? If so, How? I am looking for independant studies. I
am not interested in studies that have political affiliations.

There's at least one other major study that treats taxation AS ONE OF
SEVERAL factors. It's published by some major non-profit economic
groups (not by either American political party). Is that adequate?

From your earlier question you've alrady seen the Tax Foundation report:

If you consider the Tax Foundation politically independent, then you
probably won't have problems with these other research foundations.

The tax foundation appears to be a great source of information as well
as politically independant. Specifically, I want to see studies that
come to some conclusions. I don't want raw data. I want to know what
studies exist that point to a relationship between taxes and the
growth of the economy that is taxed. I understand that this is not an
exact science. In fact I have already seen study summaries that
conclude there is not only a relationship, but that there exists a
"tollerance" level, or window. I'm not convinced that this source is
not politically motivated. I am looking for a variety of opinions
backed by non-biased studies - if they exist. A variety could be just
two, but the more you can find, the better.

Here's an excellent reference to another study -- and an incisive
comment by Milton Friedman about "other factors." The Fraser
Institute actually makes some assumptions about taxation -- but
recognizes that other factors are at work. For example, because the
Democratic Republic of the Congo collects no taxes doesn't mean that
it's a positive factor in GNP or GNP growth:

Note too that the Tax Foundation report above has data on a
state-by-state basis though I don't recall it being long on
conclusions.
