What causes DVD movie sound to suddenly disappear after months of
perfectly good production. I've had this happen twice. Is there a way
to restore the sound, or should the product be trashed?

Does this happen to all your DVDs? What player are you using? Is it a
DVD player or do you watch via your PC? Please give us more details
regarding your problem.

Just a thought: Do you have your DVD player hooked up through your VHS
player?? This makes DVD sound disapear or come in and out... it is on
purpose so you cannot copy DVD's onto VHS.

Happened to me... thought it was my DVD player...
