Hi Afc,
Based on the specs I saw about this drive I see no reason why it
shouldn't. Are you having problems about booting from the drive? If
so, please tell us more details about the problem.

Hello,
I can confirm IM trying to create a bootable cdr or cdrw in order to
use an ISO image to unlock a 2k machine. (customer forgot Password!).
Really falling in to manay road blocks, but will now try using NERO
sware to create a bootable cdrw.

You're trying to unlock what password? Is it the BIOS system security
password or the Win2K system password?

From all your comments, I really can't understand your logic about
making a bootable CD when your real problem is how to unlock the
locked Win2K PC. What you need is to follow the instructions from this
link:
Daniel Petri Ltd
How can I gain access to a Windows 2000/XP/NT computer if I forgot the
administrator's password? How can I reset the administrator's password
if I forgot it?

If this helps, please let me know.

Hi,
First of all your coments / suggestions were very reasonable, BUT I
want to explain my logic. I wanted to unlock a PC ethically. To do
this you need to by a license of ERD commander 2003 from Winternals.
I did this. However you need to create and burn the ISO image to a
cdr /cd-rw. However the complication is I did not have a good enough
Burning software to allow me to do this. Now I have NERO and all is
well.
Using Password cracks as you suggest has it's downsides and is not
without it's risks and damge factor to the O/S, nor can they reset the
admin password. I was able to with ERD commander.
Thanks for trying to help...
