We have a square/oblong dining room table that we wish to sell. It is
solid (dark stained) oak with barley-twist legs, plus two insert
pieces to seat 8-10 people round when fully opened. I would guess it
was made in the 1940s or early 50s.
It has a makers trade mark stamped at the top of the legs with a
number. The trade mark is in the form of a large tree shaped like a
playing card 'club' with a large capital A in the centre, the name of
the table is a 'Majik' table and the company trade name is Lignum. We
also have 4 matching chairs. Please can you tell me more about the
maker and how much is it worth ?
