My objective is to contact the agent or representative of the
following bands/artists to discuss licensing. Basically, a good
result would be the name and number of someone who could point me in
the right direction for licensing. Here is the list:

Blondie, Abba, David Bowie, The Police, Queen, Men at Work, Duran
Duran, Foreigner, Berlin, Starship, The Bee Gees, U2, Alice Cooper,
Chicago, Led Zeppelin, Moody Blues, Who, Deep Purple, Sex Pistols, and
The Cure.

Dear Alex,

All fine bands, many do nto exist anymore, or altered in a way unknown
to their fans.

Licensing for using their material in a commercial/show/musical etc.
is different from using their images (for example, for a Rock n'Roll
museum), and then again, different from other types of usage that
could be made.

Could you please let us know about the project (or, if you'd rather
not reveal any details, at least on the licensure implications
thereof)?

Thank you for the question. We are looking to license their concert
art/logos for electronic usage. Does this help? We are not
interested in their music or images.

I can't give you an answer, but ringing the artists' record labels and
asking to speak to the press or marketing departments might get you
somewhere. They may either handle the licensing themselves (if it's
the rights to use a song that you're after) or be able to give you the
contact details you need.
