i have a toshibe satellite 1110, with cdrw dvd combi drive, and want to know how i unlock the regional setting as i work a great deal abroad |

I suggest you use a software method. "DVD Region+CSS Free" is great for what you're trying to do. http://dvdidle.com/ |

You can try flashing your hardware with a new firmware from here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=431 (download the 1110 file): http://perso.club-internet.fr/farzeno/firmware/6202up.zip Important: This can harm your drive if not done by an expert so only do that if you fill that you can... Another solution is to use a program like: DVD Region Free http://www.dvdidle.com/dvd-region-free.htm or: DVD Genie http://www.inmatrix.com/files/dvdgenie_download.shtml |
