Hello loza1234 A wardrobe was the doorway into the world of Narnia, as described in the book "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" by CS Lewis. This book is one of the seven chronicles of Narnia, which tell the story of the adventures of some children in a fantasy world. You can find a summary of the story at: http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/lion/ tehuti |

Narnia is a thinly-disguised Biblical story. What about the mirror in Alice's Adventures? |

Yes, the Narnia stories are religious allegory, just as the Alice books are social satire. However, Lewis refrains from overt pulpit thumping and provides a good plot and well-written narrative. I do not follow the Christian path, but nevertheless find the Narnia books an excellent read. |

In the children's book "35th of May" by Erich Kaestner, it is also a wardrobe which provides a doorway to another world. It is a wonderful, zany book. |
