Hi. I'm looking for free sources of historical data on natural gas and natural gas futures prices at major trading centers in North America, Japan, and Europe. This is just for research, not trading, so simple weekly data is fine, no need for real time or anything fancy. The data should be reasonably up to date, at least up to the beginning of this year. | |

Hi, gooberoo, thanks for that. The problem with the EIA data is that it's pretty much limited to domestic markets. They have some international price data, but it's very slim--its annual only and most recent numbers are from 2002 or earlier, sometimes much earlier. (e.g., the most recent prices from Japan are 1997 or 98.) (It was actually the limits of the EIA site that prompted me to post the question.) |
