Howdy norskchef-ga,

It would help researchers immensely to be able to (at least) see an image of
the lithograph, and if possible, additional images showing the signature, the
copyright printing, etc.

If you do not have a personal, etc. web site to post the images, please make
a comment to that effect, and we can make some suggestions to help you with
that as well. Thanks!

Howdy norskchef-ga,

Courtesy of a prior post by my colleague pinkfreud, here are some free sites
where you can upload images:

http://www.villagephotos.com
http://www.deviantart.com
http://www.photobucket.com

After you post them on one of the sites above, the site should tell you to
point others to your images. Thanks!

Howdy norskchef-ga,

If you could provide the full URL to the image, which will be something such
as the below, that would be great. Thanks!

First, thanks for the the nice overall image of the lithograph.

Sorry to be a pain, norskchef-ga, but is there any way to get a close shot
of the signature? I have used the specialized tools I have to enhance the
signature, but it comes up a bit short. Thanks!

What is the subject of the lithograph? Do you have a photo of the
signature? Did the lithograph come out of a book? Could "Taquet" be a
place name instead of an artist's name?

the subject of the lithograph is of a couple dancing in 19th century
dress...very ornate...drapery in background..parquet floors...it
apears to be some sort of royal court. it is a 12x16 print . G. taquet
copywrite 1887 and it is numbered 83...I can try photograghing the
signiture, although it is quite small. Thanks.
