Question ID: 392770
I am looking for the title of a song I heard on a classic rock and
roll station about a year ago. All I have is what I believe to be the
centerpiece the song revolves around.
The lyric goes as follows:

I don't know who you are
but I want you to know me

This was definetly a rock song.

Could this be a portion of the lyrics perhaps?

"I want to know what Love is
I want You to show me
I want to feel what Love is
I know You can show me"

No, I reconize the song you're talking about and that is not it. I am
positve the lyric goes like this:

I don't know who you are
but I want you to know me

I believe this was also a longer song, maybe 5+ minutes.

Hello gard0196-ga,

I know that you said that you are sure that the lyrics are:

?I don't know who you are
but I want you to know me?

However, is it possible that the song you are looking for is ?Weapon
and the Wound? by Days of the New. It contains the lyrics:

?I don't know where you are
I want you to know me?

I thought I would mention it to you just in case. It is a rock song,
5 minutes and 44 seconds in length.

You can listen to the song in Real Audio format at the following
webpage (the fourth song in the list about half way down the page).

Please let me know if this is the song you are looking for.

Had my question answered in 1 day. Provided more than enough info and
all I asked for was a song title.
