or did you mean 6,500,000 pounds?

There is a discrepancy in your question, wherein you state "six

billion, five hundred thousand pounds.

I obviously noticed that too but since the customer cleverly wrote out
his question (twice) I assumed the numerical figure was merely an
error. If not, here is the result of "that" conversion also:

6,000,500,000.00 GBP
United Kingdom Pounds    =   

10,778,525,056.55 USD
United States Dollars

I thought that's what I did.  Let me correct this.
I meant 6,500,000.00.  What is the converted amount from Great Britain
Pounds to United States dollars?

Tutuzdad-ga's original answer was correct and concise:

GB£6,500,000.00 = US$11,658,398.03

Although the exchange rate has now changed to GB£1 = US$1.79688, making

GB£6,500,000.00 = US$11,679,698.40.

And the more we calculate it over time the more it will change.
