How big is the typical sales force (in Full Time Equivalents) for
enterprise software companies? Are there any benchmarking studies
available that show the size of sales force required to sell
enterprise software? (Enterprise software is sold to large companies
and deployed on a regional, national or international basis.) Even a
few data points would be helpful--perhaps for Cisco, Siebel,
PeopleSoft, Oracle, CRM vendors, or ERP vendors.
