I believe I can help you, but am posting this as a clarification
rather than an answer as think more details are required…

I have a Murray mower (smaller than yours), but it has a Briggs and
Stratton engine. Could you please identify your engine brand,
horsepower and the 20 digit model code which will likely be stamped
into the engine. Not the model number of the total mower assembly.

Is it the starter clutch on the engine or is it the clutch on the
manual transmission???
