Hello.

There's a book available called "The World's Cheapest Destinations: 21
Countries Where Your Dollars Are Worth a Fortune" (2002) by Tim
Leffel.

The 21 countries listed are: Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos,
Vietnam, India, Nepal, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Bulgaria,
Hungary, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Bolivia,
Peru, Ecuador, and Venezuela.

I should just note that I didn't mean to imply that Crete is a
"country." It is, of course, part of Greece.

Just a slight addition. I was recently in Peru for a couple of weeks,
and my dollars worked quite well fo me there. I converted a little
over a hundred dollars, and received 360 soles back. Over the course
of my entire trip, I only spent about 150 of them.
