I'm helping a professor prepare a presentation and I'll be uploading images I scan for him to his website. Is there any pre-existing HTML code that can take all the images in a directory and put boxes next to each, allowing him to enter a numeric sequence? This doesn't need to be the final presentation method, just a way for him to reorder the slides easily through the web. I guess this requires code that can modify a sequencing file on the website. Honestly although I know some basic HTML and Java, I don't know how to read from and write to a file, so I wouldn't know how to do this myself if necessary. If there's nothing out there, though, could you suggest some tutorials so I could write this myself? Thanks. |

It might be simplest just to use a web site that manages photo albums for consumers. PhotoIsland.com, for example, supports this kind of sequencing. But of course, there may be reasons you can't or don't want to go that way. |
