I'm trying to find out the name of a song and artist that is heard in
an episode of "Felicity". It's from the third episode of the first
season (episode name "Boggled"). The song is slow and acoustical and
plays during the scene where Noel is watching Felicity who is watching
Ben tryout for the track team. This is not the song from the original
TV version, but the song on the DVD release.

Some of the lyrics:

Am I breathing? It feels like I'm touching you for the first time.
It's not the first time. The sweetest treason, lying next to you
before our last wave goodbye.
The moment that we closed the door, we hung our halos, knowing what we
came here for. If not forever, until the morning after. (The morning
after.) I watch you sleeping, knowing that I'll never share this bed
with you. As much as I want to. I'm not weeping, but I'm overwhelmed
by how we sealed our fate. Now it's too late. The moment that we
closed the door, we hung our halos, knowing what we came here for. If
not forever, until the morning after. (The morning after.)

I've exhausted my searching capabilities and don't know where else to
look. I've inserted pieces of the lyrics into various search engines
and have had no success.

After doing a bit of research, my guess is that this is a previously
unreleased or an obscure Pete Yorn song. He's contribued a previous
song to Felicity; he has an album called "musicforthemorningafter"
(which doesn't, unfortunately, seem to include this song); and another
person looking for the song thinks the singer sounds like him.

It's strange. There is a website that is dedicated to the music on
Felicity - you probably found it already. It appears to base it's
music listings from the DVDs, but the song that you had mentioned as
the TV version happens to be listed online instead of the song you are
looking for...

After some searching myself, the only other last resort idea I can
think of is calling Touchstone Television, asking for the Director of
Music or for the Music Licensing Department for Television and see if
they can guide you in the right direction. Just explain what you have
here and hopefully they can look it up for you. Touchstone's main
number is (818) 560-1000.

Good luck!
